Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and the “Frozen” Snowground over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has now closed and will be no more. This is indeed the second time it has closed and it is very likely going to be the final time after it was originally extended through the end of 2014.
According to WDWMagic, Jan. 4, 2015, was the final day of operation for both experiences.
Earlier in the year, both Wandering Oakeen’s and the Snowground moved from Soundstage One to the Streets of America in the building where the AFI Showcase location used to be. It’s been there since late September.
The “For The First Time In Forever” Sing-Along in the Premiere Theatre is still showing as having regular times everyday, but, that may be coming to an end as well. As of now, the official Disney website lists daily times for the Sing-Along through April 30, 2015. As of May 1 and through all of June (what’s been released so far), there are no times available at all.
That could change though as there’s been no official announcement as to the Sing-Along being done and leaving, but we shall see. As for Wandering Oaken’s and the Snowground though, they are done for.
