It’s a busy time at Walt Disney World, and there are a lot of dining reservations that are not easy to find. That leaves a lot of people wondering where to eat, and while at Magic Kingdom, there are currently two new (yet old) locations open for a limited time for them to try.
Aunt Polly’s on Tom Sawyer Island is open for the first time in so many years, and that’s quite amazing. It will only be open through April 11, 2015, but hopefully this will be seasonal and open again at peak times.
The menu is very limited, but it always has been:
- Turkey Sandwich with apple slices or chips
- Hummus with vegetable chips
- Assorted Chips
- Fresh Fruit Cup
- Fresh Whole Fruit
- Smuckers Uncrustables with apple slices, carrot sticks with apple juice or water
- Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Tea, Water
The other seasonal dining option will also be open through April 11, 2015, and it is the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon. It will not just be open for quick-service lunch, but table-service dinner as well.
From 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., the Diamond Horseshoe will have quick-service dining options including:
- Hand-carved Pork Brisket Sandwich
- Portobello Sandwich
- BBQ Turkey Sandwich
- Hand-carved Turkey Sandwich
- Tuna Salad with Croissant
Each item listed above will be $9.49 each.
Table-service dining options at the Diamond Horseshoe will be available from 4:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and include:
- Carved Beef
- Sliced Pork with Mashed Potatoes
- Roasted Turkey Breast
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Herb Bread Stuffing
- Seasonal Vegetables
- Tavern-Made White Cake filled with Apples and Craisins topped with Ice Cream
Dinner will run around $35 for adults and around $17 for children ages 3-9.
Take advantage of these rare and limited time dining options at Magic Kingdom until April 11, 2015. Hopefully, they will be back again at busier or peak times.
