Complete List of Easter Sunday Services, Activities At Walt Disney World For 2015

disney world easter 2015Easter Sunday is quickly approaching and many will be spending it at Walt Disney World. That means there will be a number of guests looking for Easter Sunday religious services or activities to do with their families. That is why Doctor Disney is here to provide an extensive list for everyone for April 5, 2015.

Now, the schedule for the Magic Kingdom Easter pre-paradeExquisite Easter Eggs at Disney’s Grand Floridian and Easter Egg Hunt at Epcot have already been announced, but let’s look at more.

First of all, let’s look at Easter Sunday religious services. Disney’s Contemporary Resort will have services as follows:

  • Catholic Mass: 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
  • Protestant Service: 9:00 a.m.

Both will be held in the Fantasia Ballroom at the Contemporary. Expect some crowds for these services and parking is limited to Contemporary Resort guests or those with dining reservations. So prepare to take the Monorail, bus, or boat transportation.

Don’t forget to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny daily next to City Hall in Magic Kingdom from 9 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. They will be appearing through Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015.

Epcot

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be in the United Kingdom on Sunday, April 5, 2015.

  • Easter Egg Hunts: Every 10 minutes from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. – Children ages 3 to 9 can take part in the hunts. There will be another Easter Egg Hunt for those that are under the age of three.
  • Easter Egg Relays: Every 40 minutes beginning at 11:40 a.m. with the last one beginning at 3:40 p.m.
  • Mr. and Mrs. Bunny Meet-and-Greet: 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Below is a listing of the announced special Easter offerings for brunch and/or dinner at different Disney Resorts. Please let it be known that more may be available so always check with Disney Dining or your resort, but this is what has been announced.

  • Florida Farm to Table Vegetable Display – grilled bell peppers, charred asparagus, marinated tomatoes
  • Florida Seasonal and Tropical Fruit Display – Plant City strawberries, melon, Central Florida watermelon, Indian River ruby red grapefruit
  • From our Florida Garden – East Coast Florida red watercress salad, Mt. Dora triple sweet corn salad with Winter Haven teardrop tomatoes
  • Minnie Buffet – green salad, carrot sticks with ranch dip, chicken fingers, potato barrels, jelly bean cupcakes
  • Action Station – egg omelets to order, hand-carved honey-glazed ham
  • Hot Food – gluten free and vegetarian quiche, sausage and smoked bacon, chicken and dumplings, cheesy grits, scrambled eggs, baby carrots, organic green beans, marble potatoes,
  • Dessert – macaroons, cheesecake, strawberry tartlets, citrus and chocolate mousse
  • Coffee, hot tea and iced tea included. Mimosas and Bloody Marys may be purchased separately
  • Seating times: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., 12:30 – 2:00 p.m., and 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Price: Adults – $49, children – $27 – tax and gratuity is included
~ Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – Grand Floridian Ballroom

  • Easter salad, Chilled strawberry soup shooters, potato hash, scrambled eggs, roasted bacon with blueberry chicken sausage, herb grilled chicken breast, filet of salmon, mustard and molasses glazed ham, muffins, croissants, hot cross buns, cupcakes and Mickey-shaped chocolate tarts
Children’s menu
  • Macaroni and cheese, pasta with tomato sauce, chicken nuggets, broccoli, fresh fruit
  • Coffee, hot tea and iced tea included. Mimosas and Bloody Marys may be purchased separately
  • Seating times: 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 12:30 – 2:00 p.m., and 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Price: Adults – $49, children – $27 – tax and gratuity is included
