To go along with so many other live-action films in the works from Disney, it has now been confirmed that a live-action Winnie-The-Pooh movie is indeed in development. Word is making the rounds now and writer-director Alex Ross Perry will pen the script.

The focus of the film will be on an adult version of Christopher Robin and his coming back to interact with Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood.
Ross is best known as the writer and director of the Sundance hit Listen Up Philip.
This should not be a huge surprise, but it now adds to the many live-action films that Disney is bringing forth. Maleficent and Cinderella have already been released, but in line are Beauty and the Beast, Dumbo, Mulan, and The Jungle Book.
Winnie-The-Pooh doesn’t have a set release date or anything else yet on tap as it is very much in the early stages of development. Now we know though, that the willy nilly silly old bear will be heading to live-action on the big screen.
