Many Walt Disney World Resort visitors often say that staying at one resort and dining at a restaurant in another can be quite troublesome with transportation. Well, Disney is looking to make that a big easier for Guests through a new test that is currently going on.
For those staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa…complimentary transportation is being offered to get Guests to select signature dining locations at other resorts.
Guests taking part in the transportation test will have taxi vouchers (round-trip) delivered straight to their resort room.
It will be available to some Guests via invite only. Guests, selected at random, will be chosen and asked if they would like to participate.
A number of dining locations are taking part in this test including, but not limited to:
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Artist Point
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jiko
- Disney’s Boardwalk Inn – Flying Fish
This transportation test is said to only be taking place until June 30, 2015. There has been no word on it being extended or branching out to other resorts at this time.
Have to say, this is one thing that could really be beneficial to numerous Guests, and has long been something that many have asked Disney for.
