Four Magic Kingdom Attractions, Shops Undergoing Short Refurbs This Fall/Winter – Peter Pan, Wedway, More

Disney put a number of new refurbishments on the official schedule today, and four of them will take place at Magic Kingdom before the end of 2015. The four new ones are all rather short so shouldn’t have too much effect on anyone.

The Mad Tea Party is going to be closed on Aug. 26, 2015, but it will only last one day. It is tentatively schedule to reopen to Guests on Aug. 27, 2015.

Next up is the Briar Patch, the merchandise location for Splash Mountain in the back of Frontierland. It will be closed Sept. 21 – 24, 2015. It is tentatively schedule to reopen to Guests on Sept. 25, 2015.

The next Magic Kingdom attraction to close for refurbishment will be Peter Pan’s Flight from Nov. 2 – 7, 2015. It is tentatively schedule to reopen to Guests on Nov. 8, 2015, but there is no word as to what is being done.

Finally, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover will be going down for refurbishment Dec. 7 – 10, 2015. It is tentatively schedule to reopen to Guests on Dec. 11, 2015.

Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
