Walt Disney’s Desk And Office Removed From One Man’s Dream At DHS

The huge announcements made at the D23 Expo this weekend have made a lot of people excited, but also brought about a bit of confusion and wondering where things will go. Well, one rumor gained some fuel this morning as the desk and office of Walt Disney were removed from One Man’s Dream.

There has long been speculation that the One Man’s Dream attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios would be closing, but no-one knew if it really would or when. Rumors came about that it would close in mid-July, but that obviously didn’t happen.

Now, it seems like the rumors may be leaning a bit further toward the side of truth.

As reported by WDWMagic, the desk and office of Walt Disney are no longer on display in One Man’s Dream. The window that was in front of it is now plastered with a map of Disneyland.

The entire display is expected to be returned to the Walt Disney Family Museum.

New rumors came about this weekend after the announcement of Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land. Many expect the latter to take over that entire area of One Man’s Dream, Pixar Place, and the old Backlot Studio Tour, but that is not confirmed.

It is NOT known if One Man’s Dream is closing or that Toy Story Land will be taking over that area when construction begins. No matter what anyone says, until Disney officially announces a closing or changes or anything…then it’s strictly rumor and speculation.

Even if Cast Members in the parks tell you it’s happening, word isn’t concrete until it comes from a higher-up in corporate or official Disney Parks Blog announcement. Things can change and quickly when it comes to Disney.

Currently, the official Walt Disney World website shows operating hours for One Man’s Dream through Jan. 2, 2016. That could be a sign of things to come, or it could just not be updated yet.

We shall see.
