The final year of the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has arrived. On Sunday night, there was a soft opening that began and will run through the official opening on Nov. 6, and here are some pics of the amazing sights to see at this year’s Osborne Lights.
Some old favorites are back such as the “Peace On Earth,” Mickey Snowman, and manger scene. There are some brand new things in place this year as well for the Osborne Lights, and a lot…I mean A LOT of hidden things.
Look for the Hidden Mickeys (big and small) all over the place. Numerous other Disney characters from past and present are spread around too. Don’t forget about the black cat who is always lurking…I found him, but it’s up to you to do the same even though he will move a lot throughout the season.

The manger scene has been moved and is no longer right as you walk in. It’s simply been moved over near the exit of the old Backlot Tour.
Yes, Uncle Scrooge is hiding among the Osborne Lights up in a window.
Miss Piggy decided to pay a visit to the final year of the Osborne Lights. You can’t see him in the picture, but above her is Kermit the Frog on another balcony.
The switch that turns all the Osborne Lights on every night.
Baymax is peering down on all the fun.
Jack Skellington wanted to get a good view as well.
P-p-p-p-p-please don’t take away the lights!
The next two pics showcase one of my favorite additions to this year’s spectacle. Being the last year, the Osborne Family is presented in amazing fashion with their own window on the Streets of America including a TV that shows the history of them and the lights.
If at any time you can get to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, this is it. The final year has them more beautiful than ever and they will only be there for two months.

The picture below Baymax is “Baby SInclair” from the 90’s sitcom “Dinosaurs” (a Jim Henson production.) I *think* it’s one of the toys they sold when the show was on the air (we have one, too) but that’s really going back a ways.
