Last night was the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of 2015, and it was just as amazing as it is every year. Now, here is a lot of info you need to know if you’re planning on going and included below are images of the party park maps, character locations, times, and more.
It really was a great party and was just a lot of fun as it is every single year. Main Street USA is decorated already as is the majority of Magic Kingdom. It also snows on Main Street throughout the party so don’t forget to stop and enjoy that too.
First things first, the park map for this year looks great and gives a lot of detail once again. Click the images below for larger looks at them.
While the maps for the Christmas Party do show character locations, it doesn’t state which characters are where. Things are always possible to change, but here are those that I saw last night at the first party and where they are located.

Hello,
I see that you listed the Holiday Hootenanny with several characters. Is that a dance party? Was it open last night? I’d heard it wasn’t.
Thanks!
I didn’t see it last night either, but asked Cast Members about it and they said it was going to happen. Walking through Frontierland on a couple occasions, we did see Clarabelle and the Country Bears walking around.
I heard the Holiday Hootenanny would only start in early December, but it sounds like the cast members you talked to thought it was going to happen that night. Interesting!
Thanks so much for the info!
I see so much info on the Very Merry Christmas Party, but cant seem to find much info on what they plan to do the week of Christimas from the 19th on. The party ends the night of the 18th. They have not updated parade times or firework info. Do you have an idea on plans for Christmas week?
Typically, the Christmastime parade will run during the day and then the Electric Light Parade at night along with Holiday Wishes as well during the Christmas week. The Christmastime parade will roll at 3:30 and sometimes at 12:30 p.m. as well.
I just looked on the official website and the times for all parades and fireworks that week are there.
Thanks, I had looked at the beginning of the week and they still had not posted times for them. The other interesting thing I could was that Hollywood studios closes at 8 the whole week! Why so early with the Osborne lights coming to an end. Meanwhile we have a dinner reservation in the part at 8:15 yet the website says they close at 8. I wonder if they plan on changing the hours.
My question is about rain outs . My family is going to the Mickeys very merry Christmas party
On Thursday Nov.19 and forecasted for 80% pm thunderstorms . What happens
The party will keep going, but the parade itself and fireworks could be either delayed or cancelled. Delays will happen until they possibly can’t wait any longer before cancelling, but the party will happen.
