Many have asked for him and hoped he would return, but now he’s back. Baymax is indeed back for meet-and-greets, and he’s going to be meeting Guests daily over at a brand new spot in Epcot.
Formerly appearing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios until his spot closed up, Baymax has moved over to a new location in Epcot.
He is located in the former Innoventions West building, and his location is also called the Epcot Character Spot.
Don’t worry as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy are still in the original Epcot Character Spot which is immediately across the hall.
Baymax will be meeting and greeting with Guests on a daily basis from the opening of Epcot in the morning until close in the evening.
There is no word on if this new Epcot Character Spot is going to change up characters or if Baymax is a permanent resident. For now, he is there, and there is no end date listed for him to be out or anything.
Maybe others will be joining him soon in the newly expanded side of the Epcot Character Spot, but all we can do is wait and see. There’s also no word on if Hiro will be joining him or not, but word from a friend of mine this morning said he was not there.
