The Circle of Life In Epcot’s Land Pavilion Closed For Refurbishment – Is It Changing?

An unannounced refurbishment began in The Land pavilion at Epcot on Feb. 7, 2016, and it was for The Circle of Life movie.

The refurbishment for The Circle of Life is set to last through Apr. 2, 2016, with it tentatively reopening to Guests on Apr. 3, 2016.

It’s not really known what s being done to the theater or movie or at all in this refurbishment. With it not being known or announced in advance, it’s kind of odd and out of nowhere.

There are some whispers going around that The Circle of Life is not going to be returning to the theater once it reopens in early April. That is not confirmed though, and we’re still awaiting official word from Disney.

It is possible that it could be something similar to the movie that has been in place since 1995 with the animated TV series The Lion Guard recently debuting.

Anyway, the closing of this attraction means that Living with the Land is the only attraction currently functioning in The Land pavilion. Soarin’ is closed until much later this year, but there is still also the Sunshine Seasons food court.

Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
