Typically during the busy times of year, The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom opens to become another quick-service meal option. Well, it’s opening its doors again soon, but this time it is going to be as a table-service meal option.
Beginning on Mar. 13, 2016, The Diamond Horseshoe is going to start serving lunch and dinner as a table-service option. There is going to be some down-home food that will surely please your tastebuds.
The Disney Parks Blog revealed the news on Friday, and let me tell you, things are looking good.
Meals will start off with a Frontier Salad which is a mix of greens, roasted corn, cornbread croutons, and tomatoes with a chipotle-ranch dressing made in house. Each table will also have plenty of cornbread for all to share and enjoy.
As for the entrees? There will be some great options as well: Choose from BBQ pulled turkey served over cornbread, spit-roasted ham served with country beans or stewed beef served with mashed potatoes. Each entrée is served with a side of seasonal veggies.
There is more to come though as dessert at The Diamond Horseshoe gives you two options: choose from an apple tart or the Campfire Brownie—rich chocolate brownie on a graham cracker crust, topped with toasted marshmallow.
Those dining at The Diamond Horseshoe will have soft drinks, coffee, tea, and milk included with their meals. The cost will be $33 plus tax for adults and $19 for children who are ages 3-9.
Reservations can be made now by calling 407-WDW-DINE, but dates are only good for Mar. 13 – May 30, so, make them now.
