There are two huge new additions coming very soon to Disney’s MyMagic+, and Guests are going to love them.
Should these additions truly come to MyMagic+, they are expected to make their debut in early April. Still waiting on the official Disney word, but it does seem as if they will happen.
First, one thing that so many Guests have begged for…appears to be turning into a reality – The ability to make additional FASTPass+ selections on your MDE apps.
Yes, the first three can be made, but additional selections need to be made at the in-park kiosks. This new feature would allow Guests to make their fourth and then fifth and sixth and so on selections right on their app.
Up next, it looks like the “StoryMaker” addition will be coming to MyMagic+.
With this feature, My Disney Experience will allow attractions (such as talking Mickey Mouse) to interact directly with Guests based on the information they have on their MDE profile.
Yes, it means that Mickey Mouse could call you by name or even talk about your FASTPass+ selections and other such things. This would happen via the RFID technology in your MagicBand and be very cool, but likely freak some people out.
Now, Disney has not spoken on, confirmed, or announced these new additions to MyMagic+, but they are expected to debut sometime in early April. Until Disney gives the official word though, that’s always possible to change.
