There is a lot going on right now and the huge Frozen expansion at Epcot is coming along nicely. Today, there was a special preview with a look behind the walls to see what is going on with the construction of both Frozen Ever After and the Royal Sommerhaus.
The new attraction will go where Maelstrom once stood and will immerse Guests in the world of Disney’s Frozen. When it’s time to finally ride Frozen Ever After, Guests are going to be a part of the whole movie.
Please note that the attraction and whole new Frozen area will be created after the events of the film so there is a bit of continuity going on.
There is also going to be a new meet-and-greet location which is called the Royal Sommerhaus, and it will include options to meet both Anna and Elsa.
Now, while there is no official opening date yet for either of these new attraction in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot, it is rumored to be near the end of May. Some have said May 28, 2016, is a possibility, but again, that is not confirmed.
