Big Change Has Happened To The Walt Disney World FASTPass+ System

It appears as if a big change is coming to the FASTPass+ reservation system at Walt Disney World, and it is rumored to start very soon. Well, the rumors were true.

Just to provide an update, but this change has indeed happened. As of this morning, the time to book your FASTPass+ reservations is now 7 a.m. and no longer midnight (Eastern).

WDWNT is reporting that the booking start time for FASTPass+ reservations is going to change from 12 a.m. (midnight) to 7 a.m. beginning tomorrow, May 18, 2016. That time will still be Eastern for everyone.

Nothing has come officially from Disney as of yet so this should be taken as a rumor until they say something or until the changes can be seen to be confirmed. That will be as soon as tomorrow morning for those booking FASTPasses.

For those wondering, there are no other changes coming to the FASTPass+ system as it will still be a 60-day booking window for those staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Those without a WDW Resort Hotel reservation will have a 30-day booking window.

Apparently, the big change is coming due to the fact that there are no tech Cast Members available at midnight for any questions or technical issues. Guests will now have them at their disposal at 7 a.m. EST if problems arise.

Again, nothing from Disney just yet…but this one will either be confirmed or classified as rumor within the next 24 hours.
