This morning, Disney has released some brand new concept art for the Star Wars-themed land in Disneyland, and it is different than what we’ve seen before. That leads to an interesting conclusion for differences between DLR and Walt Disney World.
The Disney Parks Blog revealed that concept art this morning, and it is indeed different from that which was originally shown last year at D23. It looks absolutely incredible and this image is now on the fences alongside Big Thunder Mountain in Disneyland Park.
Now, the original image shown last year is somewhat different and that may mean that is what the Star Wars-themed land will look like at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.
Here is the description for the land coming to Disneyland:
Nestled between towering spires of rock, this thriving port contains a seemingly familiar architecture of markets, landing zones and buildings. Look closely and you may find hints of some of the thrilling experiences that are coming – like the Millennium Falcon peeking out of one of the cargo bays, marking the location where guests will get the opportunity to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.
The 14-acre land will be the largest-ever single-themed land expansion at Disneyland Resort.
