My Disney Experience is always updating and getting new functions, but the latest one coming may be the best yet. Soon, Guests will be able to use their app to see where they’re going with step-by-step navigation.
The update is going to be similar to how Google Maps works and it will allow Guests using My Disney Experience to know exactly where they are going.
While in the Walt Disney World Parks, they can choose a location (attraction, restaurant, store, etc…) from the main park map, select “Get Directions,” and then determine which location to start from before they “Start Walking.”
From that point, they will be given directions and distance from one point to another.
While outside of the parks, but on property, Guests can do the same thing with My Disney Experience and get even more information. This will not only give them time and distance, but it will have options for boats, Disney Monorails, and bus transportation so that they know how to get there and how long it will take to get there.
There will not be options given for Guests using their own vehicles.
The update to the My Disney Experience app is set to be available on Monday, July 18, 2016.
Make sure to get in touch with My Mickey Vacation Travel so they can give provide plenty other details and take all the stress out of planning to create the magic for you.
