A brand new trailer for Disney’s next sure-to-be hit animated film Moana has been released, and it certainly keeps looking better and better.
One thing that is blatantly obvious about this film is that it’s going to be breathtakingly beautiful. It’s hard to look at any of the concept art or the trailers that have been released for Moana and not realize the stunning backgrounds and landscapes that the film will have.
Throw on top of that an awesome story, and it makes this latest trailer even more exciting.
The official synopsis for Moana is:
Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows exactly why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli‘i Cravalho) meets the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.
Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”), produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”), and featuring music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa‘i, “Moana” sails into U.S. theaters onNov. 23, 2016.
Moana is set to hit theaters for the holiday season on Nov. 23, 2016.
The film stars the voice talents of Auli’i Cravalho, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Alan Tudyk, Nichole Scherzinger, Rachel House, Temura Morrison, and Jemaine Clement. Let’s not forget that the music is from the awesome Lin-Manuel Miranda

I simply cannot wait for this! Disney’s animated films are never a disappointment. I think I am most excited for the animated movie Moana because my wife is Hawaiian. The trailer looks great, and from what I can tell, the movie will definitely capture Hawaii’s beauty.
