One of the biggest draws to Disney Parks is that of the nighttime spectaculars whether they be fireworks or stage shows or projections. With that, of course, comes the extra cost of the dessert parties…but are they worth it?
This week on “The Doctor Disney Podcast,” we talk about all of the different dessert parties that are available at Walt Disney World.
You can experience one at Epcot for Illuminations. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has had them for the Frozen fireworks, Star Wars fireworks, and will have them for the new “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” starting soon.
Hey…Magic Kingdom has at least three different versions of the dessert parties for Wishes.
But what do you get with them? What’s so special and unique about these dessert parties? Are they worth the money? Is there really anything good enough about them to pay extra instead of just watching the show from any other location?
Those are some of the questions we tackle about the dessert parties on show #10 of “The Doctor Disney Podcast.” So, check out below to listen and make sure to subscribe on iTunes!

We did The Not So Scary Halloween party last year we paid a lot of money for the tickets to be honest I didn’t think it was worth it we went trick-or-treating through the park and got candy that was really the only difference thing I could have bought bags and bags of candy for what it cost us to stay in the park that night I also noticed that there were quite a few guests that did not have wristbands on therefore I’m assuming that maybe they did not pay the ticket and somehow got by having to pay and stayed in the park anyway which of course is not fair to those who did pay it was an experience and we can say we did it but I would not recommend paying extra for the parties that they have you already paid enough to get into the park for the day they should not charge extra for a couple of fireworks and decorations it’s a big rip off
We did the not so scary Halloween party this year, we loved the shows that you can only see for this party, the candy was a massive amount and we only hit like 6 stations! Was able to ride a few rides with much shorter line then earlier in the day (( one of the rides was 220 minute wait down to 50 minute wait!) In my opinion it was well worth the $ and I cannot wait to go back ((once my 5yr old is much older!)
