About a year ago, we got the release dates for a number of big-time Pixar sequels coming out over the coming years. Two of those films are Toy Story 4 and The Incredibles 2 which both have many people extremely excited, but now, there’s been a bit of a switch-up.
Originally, Toy Story 4 was set to hit theaters on June 15, 2018. In the same breath, The Incredibles 2 was set to jump into theaters on June 21, 2019. Well, you need to strike those…reverse them.
Yes, the two big Pixar franchises are switching release dates as it will now be The Incredibles 2 opening on June 15, 2018 and competing with the likes of Jurassic World 2 and the sixth movie in the Transformers franchise.
Toy Story 4 will have a competitive summer as well when it opens on June 21, 2019, as it will compete with a yet untitled DC Comics movie and the seventh movie in the Transformers franchise.
