A brand new dining experience unlike any other has just been revealed by Walt Disney World and it is starting very soon. Have you ever wanted to have an organized dining crawl around the Magic Kingdom resort monorail line? Well, now, you can.
The new experience is called the Highway in the Sky Dine-Around and it will take Guests on an interesting, and tasty, ride around the monorail loop. Guests will be able to visit Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on this journey which ends with some fireworks.
Per the Disney Parks Blog:
“You’ll the journey by checking in at The Wave…of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort then board the monorail to be whisked off to Disney’s Polynesian Resort to celebrate the spirit of the South Pacific with island-inspired sips and appetizers.
Hop back on the monorail and head to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, stepping into the elegant hotel to enjoy a sumptuous wine dinner at award-winning Cítricos. After dinner, sip sparkling wine and sample artisanal cheese in the lavish lobby.
Then head back to the monorail for a final stop at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for dessert, cordials and coffee on a private patio with the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks over Cinderella Castle as your backdrop.”
Please note that this new dining/monorail experience will only be offered on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays beginning on Dec. 2, 2016. There will not be any reservations for Dec. 18, 2016, through Jan. 3, 2016, due to the obvious peak holiday season.
Booking for the Highway in the Sky Dine-Around begins today, Nov. 29, 2016, and can be made by calling 407-WDW-Dine or going online (not yet available as of noon on Tuesday).
Valet parking will be included with this reservation which costs $150 plus tax and gratuity per Guest.
