Many were not too thrilled with them, and it appears as if Disney has listened to the displeasure of its Guests. The cabanas that were introduced for rent in Magic Kingdom as of a couple of months ago are going to be gone before the end of February.
Just a few months ago, Walt Disney World introduced cabanas for rent inside Magic Kingdom where Guests could relax and chill out for a price. That price ended up being a daily rental of $649, and it brought about a bit of backlash.
Well, after just coming into existence on Nov. 27, 2016, it is already time for the cabanas to be done away with as they will come to an end on Feb. 17, 2017.
While some found the cabanas to be beneficial with shaded seating, privacy, cold drinks, snacks, and reserved viewing for the parades and fireworks…many others were against them. No-one really cared for their placement near Space Mountain in Tomorrowland, or really at all.
So, with that, the cabanas experiment is about to come to an end.
