Mobile food ordering is spreading across Walt Disney World as two more dining locations inside of Magic Kingdom now offer the convenience for all guests.
This week, both Pinocchio Village Haus and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe put mobile food ordering in place to make things easier and quicker for guests.
The process is quite simple and it works very easily.
- Open the My Disney Experience app
- Tap your character icon
- Scroll down to “Order Food” under “My Plans”
- Select “Dining,” select your dining location, and choose “Order Food”
- Make your selections for food and beverages
- Pay using a credit card – Please note: As of now, Mobile Ordering can only be used with credit cards and not cash or the Disney Dining Plan.
- Arrive at your dining location
- Open the My Disney Experience app
- Tap your character icon
- Select “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” – This will send a message to the kitchen to start preparing your food.
- A notification will be sent to your food when it is ready and you can pick it up at the “Mobile Order Pick Up” location
It all started with the Satu’li Canteen inside of Pandora – The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but it has since become available at a number of other locations in two WDW parks and Disney Springs.
Here is the full list of restaurants with mobile food ordering in place as of this writing:
- Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
- Pinocchio Village Haus
- Tomorrowland Terrace
- Cosmic Ray’s
- Satu’li Canteen
- Pizzafari
- Flame Tree Barbecue
- Restaurantosaurus
- D-Luxe Burger
More dining locations throughout Walt Disney World will put this system in place over the coming months. Columbia Harbour House is expected to begin mobile food ordering before the end of the summer.
