2018 Dates Set For Blizzard Beach’s Annual Refurbishment And Closure

Each and every year, the two water parks at Walt Disney World undergo a refurbishment period in which they are closed for a few months at a time. It looks like Typhoon Lagoon won’t close again until next year and Blizzard Beach is set for closure this fall.

Blizzard Beach will close for its annual refurbishment beginning on Oct. 28, 2018, and it is set to be closed through the end of the year. The refurbishment’s final day is set to be Jan. 5, 2019.

As of now, Blizzard Beach is tentatively scheduled to reopen on Jan. 6, 2019.

Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
