Some people may think it is just a prop, but it’s the suit that was in the movie that started it all for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). So, when the suit from the original Iron Man movie is reported as stolen, it’s quite a big deal.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the disappearance of the suit which was worn by Robert Downey Jr. in 2008’s Iron Man. It was last seen in a prop storage warehouse in Pacoima, California, and it’s actually been missing for quite some time as it was stolen sometime between February and late April.
The Iron Man suit is valued at $325,000.
Iron Man’s suit was reported missing on Tuesday after employees at the warehouse “just happened to check” and noticed it was gone.
