Remember last year when it was revealed that Walt Disney World would begin enforcing the FastPass+ system to keep people from cheating it? Well, that was not a joke and WDW truly is working on keeping things fair and will lock you out of your My Disney Experience if found to be cheating.
The gist of the whole thing is that if someone is found to be using FastPasses that don’t belong to them, that My Disney Experience could be locked. So, if someone is trying to use FastPasses on an account that is connected to a ticket which has not entered any Disney Park on that day, it is obvious that the owner of the account is not using those FPs.
Well, it appears as if the issue is still one exists and Disney is indeed locking MDE accounts. The following image shows a guest trying to make FastPass+ selections for someone in their party, but that person (Mr. Incredible) has had their MDE locked.
If your MDE is locked, you not only wouldn’t be able to book FastPasses, but you wouldn’t be able to book dining or do anything on it.
Disney has said that if someone believes their My Disney Experience account has been locked in error, they can go to any Guest Relations and discuss the situation. If it can be proven that the guest was truly not trying to cheat the system, their MDE may be unlocked and returned to them.
In summary…don’t try to get around the system.
Make sure to get in touch with My Mickey Vacation so they can give you even more details and take all the stress out of planning to create the magic for you.
They will make sure to connect all the dots and get everything in order for your next Disney Cruise Line, Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or any Disney Destination vacation while saving you time, stress, and money.

I still don’t understand how this works… I can’t wrap my brain around this loophole. Fortunately, Disney has figured it out and can handle the issue!
