It is just a little over two weeks until Toy Story Land opens for the entire world at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but are there going to be any previews? While nothing is yet known for guests, Cast Members will get the first shots at checking out Slinky Dog Dash later this week.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and DVC members have been waiting on news of an early preview of Toy Story Land, but word has never arrived. With just about two weeks until the grand opening on June 30, 2018, it appears as if one is simply not going to come.
Someone has to make sure all is awesome and the honor is going to Cast Members as their previews will begin later this week. All of Toy Story Land will not be accessible to them, but Cast Members have been receiving their emails with dates and times to ride Slinky Dog Dash.
Previews for Cast Members will take place from June 14-18, 2018, and it is still being done in a limited fashion. Disney is working very diligently to get the new land open on time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the weather has not been in their favor the past few months.
It is not known if there will be a soft opening for Toy Story Land or anything inside of it, but those are never officially announced anyway. Only time will tell with that.
