On Monday, Disney announced a brand new event coming later this year that will be called V.I.Passholder Nights. Annual Passholders will have the honor of being able to enjoy unique Extra Magic Hours at the parks, but how will they work?
This new event will take place starting in August and as of now, there is only one per month through October. More could come in the future, but Disney will probably see how it all goes first with these Extra Magic Hours for only Annual Passholders.
What is it?
V.I.Passholder Nights will be Extra Magic Hours on certain nights and set aside just for Annual Passholders.
- Passholder-Exclusive In-Park Offerings – Enjoy V.I.PASSHOLDER Perks during some of your favorite seasonal events throughout the year such as special giveaways and exclusive offerings.
- Special Surprises in the Parks – Experience sneak peeks of select new Park offerings!
Who can go?
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders who have passes at the levels of Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus, and Premier can attend.
When are they?
- Magic Kingdom: Aug. 5, 2018 – 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- Epcot: Sept. 6, 2018 – 9 p.m to 11 p.m.
- Epcot: Oct. 25, 2018 – 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
How do I sign up?
Annual Passholders in the levels listed above will need to keep an eye on their email as invitations will be sent out to them in that method. You will want to sign up quickly as it is expected to fill up very fast.
How will V.I.Passholder Nights affect regular EMH?
These Extra Magic Hours (EMH) for Annual Passholders actually won’t affect anything else at all. On the day they are scheduled for Magic Kingdom, that park does not usually have EMH. The same goes for the two scheduled days at Epcot which usually has morning Extra Magic Hours on Thursdays and those are still scheduled.

I’ve been trying my email link for the past 4 hours and it’s not working. Getting a webpage error which is extremely frustrating.
