We are getting into the holiday season time at Walt Disney World and that means some changes need to be made. Beginning next Friday, the three o’clock parade won’t be a question to ask for the rest of the year as Festival of Fantasy is once again shifting start times.
Starting on Aug. 17, 2018, Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom will change its start time to 2 p.m. each day instead of its usual 3 p.m. That is the first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for this year.
This move is being done again this year for the holiday season which includes the Halloween parties and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. With guests needing to start heading out of Magic Kingdom beginning at 6 p.m., the earlier parade start time helps to keep things not so tight in time.
Remember, though, that the parade time change is going to be daily and not just on party days.
Like last year, this is not a permanent change. According to the schedule, Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade will switch back to 3 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2019.
