Walt Disney World has now confirmed that a brand new third tower hotel will be built near the Swan and Dolphin Resorts.
With more details set to be released at the end of this week, Disney has revealed that there will be a 14-story tower built where the resort tennis courts now stand. In the tower, there will be an additional 349 guest rooms, a meeting space, a restaurant with a bar and lounge, and a swimming pool.
A large number of the guest rooms will have private executive meeting spaces.
Disney has not revealed if the new tower will end up being part of the Swan or part of the Dolphin or receive a name and identity of its own.
As of now, the new tower hotel near the Swan and Dolphin is set to open sometime in 2020.
