Earlier this year, it was reported that the Star-Lord and Baby Groot meet-and-greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios would be coming to a close at the end of the summer. While the initial reports were off by a little bit, it does seem to be about time for the Guardians to head out.
The Guardians of the Galaxy meet-and-greet is located in the back of “Walt Disney Presents,” and the duo has been there since late spring of last year. Now, it looks like Star-Lord and Baby Groot will meet guests for the final day on Sept. 29, 2018.
As of Sept. 30, that area is set to be closed. It is not yet known what or who will replace them.
Of course, until Disney officially gives word of any kind, anything is possible to change. For the time being, though, you may want to get over to DHS as Star-Lord and Baby Groot are about to blast outta there.
