Chris Evans Wraps Up ‘Avengers 4’ With Emotional Tweet And Possible Goodbye For Captain America

On Thursday, October 4, 2018, the end of an incredible era may have actually arrived. Chris Evans hopped on Twitter to tweet out a very emotional message that revealed the wrap of Avengers 4 and possibly signaled the end of his time as Captain America.

While nothing is confirmed or set in stone, there have been plenty of rumors and a lot of speculation that Chris Evans would soon put down the shield. It has been said that after Avengers 4, he would no longer play the role of Captain America, but what does that mean for our hero?

Is he going to die in Avengers 4? Will he just give up the persona and shield and become a regular citizen? Perhaps this isn’t the end and he’ll come back?

Nothing is really known and won’t be until after Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019. For now, though, Chris Evans has everyone wondering with his tweet that not only speaks of wrapping up filming, but looks back at his eight years as Captain America.

He thanks everyone for the memories and talks about being “eternally grateful”?

None of that looks really good for anything or anyone who is a fan of the Marvel Universe, but only time will tell. Either way, we still thank you, Captain America…Chris Evans…for everything.
