Disney has released a brand new preview video to give guests a closer look at the Disney Skyliner transportation. Construction has been long underway on the new gondolas, but this is just really exciting to see.
A new video was released today, and you can view it below, but Disney simply wanted to keep guests updated on the Skyliner’s progress.
The gondola system will transport guests to and from Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and the brand new DVC property which will be Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Disney is making sure that guests know they will continue to see more work done around property.
To bring Disney Skyliner to life, teams are making progress on this innovative system. In addition to uniquely Disney station designs that complement their surroundings, support towers have been popping up across Walt Disney World Resort and will soon be connected with a series of reinforced cables to carry guests in stylish themed gondolas. You may even see this work underway over the next several months as teams install the miles of cable between towers.
There is no set opening date for the Disney Skyliner as of yet, but it is expected to open sometime in 2019.
