Disney’s ‘Jungle Cruise’ Starring The Rock Has Release Date Pushed Back To Summer 2020

For anyone who was looking forward to Disney’s movie version of Jungle Cruise, let’s just say the original release date was one big corny joke. On Friday, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed that it has been pushed back and won’t hit theaters until summer of 2020.

Jungle Cruise was originally set to hit theaters on October 11, 2019, which would be just under a year from right now. Unfortunately, there appear to have been some issues with that date even though nothing specific was given when they delay was announced.

Based on the theme park attraction made famous in the Disney Parks, the film also stars Emily Blunt who will be seen in Mary Poppins Returns this Christmas.

The Rock made the announcement of Jungle Cruise‘s delay on his Instagram account and gave the new official release date of July 24, 2020.
