It’s the news that so many have been waiting for and Anne Hathaway has finally revealed it for all to hear – The Princess Diaries 3 is actually happening and there is already a script for it.
In 2001, Hathaway first took her place upon the throne as Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries. 2004 brought about the sequel which was called The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, but fans have constantly wanted more.
On Thursday night, Anne Hathaway was a guest on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and she was asked about the rumors of another sequel. Much to the surprise of everyone, she revealed some awesome news.
“There is a script for the third movie. There is a script. I want to do it. Julie [Andrews] wants to do it. Debra Martin Chase, our producer, wants to do it. We all really want it to happen.”
So, you’re telling me there’s a chance? Shut…..(dramatic pause)…..up!
As of now, that is all that’s known about a possible third film in The Princess Diaries franchise, but hopefully, more will come soon.
