It’s happening. It’s really happening and it is getting ever-so-closer to the opening of another galaxy for all guests to enjoy. A special Cast Member event called “The Attire Awakens” was held at the Disneyland Resort which has now given us the first looks at the costumes and nametags for those who will work in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Ede.
The event took place in Tomorrowland Terrace inside of Disneyland Park and it showcased a number of the costumes that will be worn in the new land. Costumes were shown for both attractions – Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run – as well as some merchandise, food & beverage, and other locations in Galaxy’s Edge.

Making things even more awesome in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be the nametags for Cast Members. Obviously, they will look a little different than the normal Disney nametags as they will feature the Cast Member’s name in both English and Aurebesh.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to open in June (so says Bob Iger) in Disneyland while the version in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will open in “fall.”
