Once upon a dream, there was an evil woman who just wanted to be loved, but sometimes, there’s not much you can do about who you are. On Wednesday morning, Disney revealed that Maleficent 2 actually has a new title and along with that, they unveiled an awesome new poster and release date.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is actually moving way up as it was originally scheduled to hit theaters in May of 2020. Now, the Angelina Jolie-starring film will mystify theaters on October 18, 2019.
In Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, years have passed since the events in the first film. Now, Maleficent is still trying to figure out her exact relationship with the soon-to-be Queen as they face new enemies while protecting the moors.
Jolie is joined in the film by a stellar cast that includes Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Ed Skrein, Robert Lindsay, and many others.
