Last month, we revealed that there would be a sneak peek of the new live-action Dumbo coming to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Tonight, guests enjoying the early preview were given a real treat as director Tim Burton showed up out of nowhere to speak to them all.
The sneak peek is running for a limited time this month and it’s a great chance to see a little of the new Dumbo before it hits theaters. While anything is always possible in Disney, you can be sure that no-one in Disneyland expected director Tim Burton to be there to meet them all.

After the director spoke on stage and the sneak preview of Dumbo, Burton went to the lobby of the opera house in Disneyland to meet guests and sign autographs.

Tim Burton was out in the park enjoying the day and getting in some Disneyland earlier.

In Disneyland Park, the sneak peek of Dumbo will be available at the Main Street Opera House in Town Square. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also present the sneak peek which will be inside the theater of “Walt Disney Presents.”
Huge thanks to Ryan Trout for alerting us of Burton’s time in the park today as well as his surprising the guests at the Dumbo preview.
