Three restaurants at Disney Springs have been impacted by a data breach that includes a number of locations off of Disney property. if you’ve dined at any of these locations in the time span listed below, you may want to check your accounts.
The data breach ended up affecting locations such as Mixology, Tequila Taqueria, and Buca di Beppo as far as off property goes. In Disney Springs, the three locations which may have been affected are:
- Earl of Sandwich
- Planet Hollywood
- Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy!
The software involved in the data breach was used to capture credit card data which could have been on both credit and debit cards. This information includes the card numbers, expiration dates, and even the names of the cardholders.
While the dates of the data breach can vary depending on which of the dining locations you may have visited, you’ll want to check your accounts if you visited them anytime between May 23, 2018, and March 18, 2019.
The data breach did not affect forms of payment that included online or MagicBands if they were used for purchases.
