Kevin Feige Warns Everyone That ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Doesn’t Have A Good Time For A Bathroom Break

With just two weeks to go until Avengers: Endgame hits theaters, we have all learned confirmation that the movie will be at least three hours long. While some feel that is a bit excessive, it has become necessary in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but what about an intermission for a bathroom run?

Well, there will be no intermission and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige says there is no good time for a bathroom break.

Avengers: Endgame has a confirmed run time of three hours and almost one minute, and there’s not going to be a break in the movie. It will run straight through and that means you need to have all of your snacks at the ready.

It also means that a bathroom break you take could happen at the worst possible time. MovieWeb spoke with Feige about that and he simply said that Endgame doesn’t actually give a “good time” to go to the bathroom.

“What I’ve always said is a movie is as long as it should be. And we are not fans of overindulging movies. We are not fans of laborious lengths for no reason. We are fans of movies that you wish didn’t end. Movies that you want to see again as soon as it’s over. And movies that you just don’t ever find a good time to run out to the bathroom. That’s when a movie’s working. And if a movie doesn’t feel like that to us we continue to trim, we continue to shape, we continue to bring that time down. That happened to a certain extent on this movie. But we got to a point where it feels very exciting and goes by very quickly and in the end is the perfect length. And everybody that saw the movie felt the same way.”

So, if you’re thinking of getting that large drink when going to see Avengers: Endgame, you may want to downsize to the small and take your time with it.
