Magic Kingdom has already seen a lot of work done to its security area and Disney’s Hollywood Studios has work underway there, but now, it is just about Epcot’s turn. This week, work will begin on both the security and tram area for the park which will call for some adjustments.
While the refurbishment work is being done, there will be some changes and relocation of the tram and security areas.
Trams will now have a new temporary loading and unloading zone at the front of the park which will call for a little bit of extra foot travel. Epcot will have two separate loading/unloading areas as well with one for the West parking lots and one for the East parking lots.
As for the security checkpoint and bag check, guests arriving on Disney transportation (bus and monorail) will head to one while guests arriving in their own vehicles will go to another. This work will go on at Epcot for quite some time throughout this year and is set to begin this week.
Those guests who have been to Disney’s Hollywood Studios have already seen major amounts of work done with a new bus loop and new security checkpoint being built. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have work started later this year.
