The eyes of the Marvel fans of the world are on next week when Avengers: Endgame finally hits theaters, but we can’t forget about what is coming later this year. Marvel has now moved up the date for Spider-Man: Far From Home this summer and you need to be prepared for this odd day of the week opening.
Sony Pictures and Marvel have announced that Spider-Man: Far From Home will no longer open on July 5 as previously scheduled, but it will hit theaters on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
While it may seem strange for a movie to open on a Tuesday outside of the Christmas holiday season, this actually makes a lot of sense. Sony is going to want Spider-Man: Far From Home to play through the Fourth of July holiday week and get in as many extra viewings as possible.
