Will Smith Sings ‘Prince Ali’ In New Clip From Disney’s ‘Aladdin’

With less than two weeks to go until Disney’s remake of Aladdin hits theaters, a brand new clip has been released. In it, Will Smith is in his human form of Genie and sings one of the most iconic songs from the animated feature in “Prince Ali.”

While some aren’t yet sold on Smith playing the role of Genie after he was portrayed so brilliantly by the late Robin Williams, this is our first good look at him in action. “Prince Ali” is a huge part of the film and really brings about the initial look at Aladdin being a prince.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, the live-action remake of Aladdin stars Mena Massoud in the title role, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, and Will Smith as Genie. Marwan Kenzari will be Jafar, Navid Negahbanas as the Sultan, and many others will join them.

Aladdin is set to hit theaters on May 24, 2019.
