Lots of people love to speculate on the future of the Disney Parks and what happen in the days to come. There are always rumors floating around, and there are times that Disney needs to set the record straight…and that’s what they’ve now done for Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room and the Country Bear Jamboree.
It is not a false truth that Walt Disney World is setting things up for a huge celebration for the 50th anniversary of the parks. As people and websites speculate on what all could come about, there are some rumors out there which apparently don’t have any truth to them whatsoever.
One of those rumors is that the Country Bear Jamboree would be closing sometime before the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World and undergoing huge changes. As a matter of fact, it was rumored that the show would be replaced with a Toy Story show of some kind.
Well, the Disney Parks Blog decided to squash that:
Our Imagineers are always looking at ways to bring more magic to our guests through experiences and stories they know, but contrary to rumors, Country Bear Jamboree is not going into hibernation any time soon. In fact, we’re looking forward to celebrating its 50th anniversary on Oct. 1, 2021 at Walt Disney World Resort, with Henry, the Five Bear Rugs and the rest of the gang. Until then, “we hope that you’ll be comin’ back again; that you’ll drop in and see us now and then.”
But wait…there’s more.

Another rumor flying around is that Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room in Magic Kingdom would undergo major changes too. While the rumor wasn’t that it would be replaced, it’s that the attraction would undergo a mix of Moana possibly similar to the “Under New Management” from years ago.
Well, the Disney Parks Blog decided to speak on that rumor as well.
We’re sorry that our fans are being fed incorrect information by unscrupulous sources. While “toucan” play at that game, we deal in facts here at the Disney Parks Blog. Although we won’t address every rumor, we want to set the record straight: there are no plans for our feathered friends to fly the coop any time soon. We’re constantly evolving our stories, but these birds will continue entertaining our guests at the Magic Kingdom Park just as they have done since 1971.
