When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened, one of the many unique things sold in the land was Coca-Cola bottles shaped like “thermal detonators.” Those Coke bottles made for awesome souvenirs, but if you’re flying in and out of Disneyland or Walt Disney World, you can no longer take them with you.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has completely and totally banned the Coke bottles which are being sold in Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This ban isn’t just for carry-on luggage on U.S. flights, but for checked luggage as well.
Officials from TSA have confirmed that the Coke bottles have been banned since they look like replica explosives.
“Replica items are not allowed on aircraft,” said TSA spokesperson Jim Gregory.
When questioned on Twitter about the Coke bottles and why they would be banned, the official account of the TSA said “Replica and inert explosives aren’t allowed in either carry-on or checked bags.”
TSA officials said that the Coke bottles “could create concern that it’s the real thing.”

I understand the need for safety and security. I just want to make sure, Can we ship them to our house?
I will be in Batuu late September so hoping to send some presents to my family not fortunate enough to come to Disney with us!
