After more than a week closed due to an incident at Disney’s Riviera Resort station, the Disney Skyliner has reopened and resumed operation.
Beginning today (October 14, 2019), the Disney Skyliner is resuming operation as of 8 a.m. and will be open until 10:30 p.m. Later this week, there will be some modified operational hours and lines as work continues on the new mode of transportation at Walt Disney World.
October 16, 2019 – The line for Disney’s Hollywood Studios will remain closed all day. The other lines on the Skyliner will be in operation from 1 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
October 17-18, 2019 – Operating hours for all lines will be 1 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

We know many of you have been looking for an update on Disney Skyliner and are glad to share that it has reopened to guests today. Following a complete review with the manufacturer, we’ve made adjustments to our processes and training, and we are improving how we communicate with guests during their flight with Disney Skyliner. We again offer our deepest apologies to the guests impacted by the malfunction that resulted in extended operating delays on Oct. 5.
