Disney+ Already Has More Than 10 Million Subscribers After Launch Day

On Tuesday, Disney+ launched and most everyone appeared to know that and join in on watching the fun. Little did anyone realize that the subscriber count would be as high as it is as Disney is reporting they have already surpassed more than 10 million subscribers.

After just one day in operation, Disney+ is said to have more than 10 million subscribers after what Disney calls “extraordinary consumer demand.” That would be the reason that there were some errors, slow load times, and other issues throughout the day.

That number of 10+ million includes any pre-orders that began months ago, but it’s still huge. Disney has been anticipating 60-90 million subscribers globally by the time 2024 arrives, and that goal doesn’t seem out of reach.

Disney+ has launched in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands, but it will hit other locations in the coming months.
