Magic Kingdom does close rather early during the holiday months due to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but this isn’t one of those days. On Monday, December 2, 2019, Magic Kingdom is closing really early, but it is for a very good reason.
As has been listed on the park hours for months now, Magic Kingdom will close at 4:30 p.m. on Monday for the annual Walt Disney World Service Celebration. This is to honor Cast Members for their outstanding service to guests and the company.
All guests will need to leave Magic Kingdom by 4:30 on Monday, December 2, 2019, and that does mean there will be no fireworks that evening. The park opens at 8 a.m., and the early closing will be for all of the public crowds.
