The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be splitting time away from the Royal Family, but she is certainly going to stay busy. It is being reported that Markle has signed a deal with Disney to do voiceover work in exchange for the “House of Mouse” to donate to a wildlife charity of her choosing.
The former star of Suits is going to do voiceover work for a Disney project that has not yet been revealed. In exchange for that work being done, Disney is going to make a charitable donation to Elephants Without Borders which aims to protect the animals from poaching.
Exact details of the deal between Markle and Disney are not yet known, but Disneynature is going to benefit from it.
Complete confirmation of a commercial deal has not yet been received, but it has been known since Christmas that talks with Disney and others were in place. Prince Harry and the Duchess completely endorsed last summer’s Disney remake of The Lion King at the London premiere which was held in support of their conservation and communities work.
