As expected around this time of year, ticket price increases are happening at the Disney Parks. The first location to unveil the new ticket prices this year is the Disneyland Resort which has raised the cost of Annual Passes and unveiled a new five-tier system for one-day park tickets.
In 2019, the ticket price increase was for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and in 2020, it will be for the opening of Marvel Avengers Campus this summer. With new things happening and being built all the time, ticket price increases are to be expected.
The new 5-Tier ticket system is only for one-day base tickets and one-day park hopper tickets. A Tier 5 ticket is good for any date in a Tier 5 or lower price. A Tier 4 tickets is good for any day in a Tier 4 or lower price, and so on.
Here is how the old prices compare to the new for Disneyland daily tickets.
1-Day Base (2019): $104 – Value, $129 – Moderate, $149 – Peak
